Building Strong Foundations in Faith and Community

At Catholic Engaged Encounter, we understand the importance of guiding high school students on their journey of faith and spirituality. Our High School Ministry at Messiah Lutheran Church is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment where students can connect, grow, and deepen their relationship with God and each other. Our mission is to empower young individuals, equipping them with the necessary tools to navigate the challenges of adolescence while fostering their spiritual growth.

In the bustling world of high school, it is essential to find a community that accepts and supports you. Our High School Ministry prides itself on being a tight-knit, welcoming community where students can feel a sense of belonging. We create opportunities for students to connect with one another through engaging activities, community service, and regular gatherings. By fostering friendships centered around shared values and faith, we strive to create a space where students can grow together and strengthen their relationships with God.

Experiences that Ignite Spiritual Growth

We believe that spiritual growth is a lifelong journey, and our High School Ministry aims to provide experiences that ignite and nurture this growth. Through our diverse range of programs and events, students are exposed to a variety of ways to explore and deepen their faith. From engaging Bible studies and thought-provoking discussions to impactful retreats and meaningful worship services, we offer a comprehensive approach to spiritual development.

Programs Offered

  • Weekly Gatherings: Our weekly gatherings are designed to provide a space for high school students to come together, worship, and learn about God's word in a welcoming and supportive environment.
  • Small Group Discipleship: Small group discipleship allows students to delve deeper into the Bible, discuss relevant topics, and develop a closer relationship with God through a more intimate setting.
  • Retreats and Conferences: We organize impactful retreats and conferences throughout the year, where students have the opportunity to step away from their daily routines and immerse themselves in a focused and transformative spiritual experience.
  • Service and Outreach Events: We actively engage in service and outreach events, encouraging students to live out their faith by making a difference in the lives of others and the broader community.

Guidance from Caring Mentors

We believe in the power of mentoring and the positive impact it can have on the lives of young individuals. Our High School Ministry is staffed with dedicated and caring mentors who are passionate about guiding and supporting students in their faith journey. Our mentors provide a listening ear, spiritual guidance, and answer the difficult questions that often arise during adolescence. They serve as role models, demonstrating what it means to live a life of faith, integrity, and compassion.
