Welcome to AWANA, where children's spiritual growth is ignited in a fun and nurturing environment! As part of the Catholic Engaged Encounter organization, we are committed to helping children develop strong foundations in their faith. AWANA stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed," taken from the Bible verse 2 Timothy 2:15, emphasizing the importance of studying and living by the Word of God.

Our program provides a unique blend of biblical teaching, interactive learning, and exciting activities designed to engage children in their faith journey. 1. Comprehensive Biblical Curriculum

Our AWANA curriculum is carefully crafted to teach children about the Bible, its stories, and its principles in a comprehensive and age-appropriate manner. We cover a wide range of topics, including key biblical figures, important events, and moral lessons. Through interactive storytelling, discussions, and hands-on activities, children not only learn but also develop a deeper understanding and love for the Word of God.

2. Engaging and Fun Learning Experience

We understand that children learn best when they are actively engaged and having fun. That's why AWANA incorporates games, crafts, group activities, and memorable experiences into each session. Our dedicated team of trained leaders creates an encouraging and positive atmosphere where children feel excited to learn and grow together. AWANA is not only educational but also a place where lasting friendships are formed.

3. Supportive and Inclusive Community

Being a part of AWANA means being part of a supportive community. Children come together with their peers, forming bonds, and building relationships centered around their shared faith. Our team of caring leaders and volunteers foster an environment of acceptance, encouragement, and love. We firmly believe that a strong community is vital in encouraging children to live out their faith and overcome challenges.

AWANA Program Offerings

Our AWANA program offers a variety of age-specific clubs that cater to children from preschool to high school. Each club has a unique curriculum tailored to suit the developmental needs of the respective age groups. Here's an overview of the different AWANA clubs we offer:

1. Cubbies

Cubbies is designed for preschoolers aged 3 to 5. In this club, children engage in exciting activities, sing songs, and learn about God's love in a safe and nurturing environment. Through interactive play and storytelling, our little ones begin to grasp the basic truths of the Bible and cultivate a love for Jesus.

2. Sparks

Sparks is geared towards children in kindergarten to second grade. At this stage, children dive deeper into the Bible stories and start memorizing verses. They participate in games, crafts, and engaging discussions that reinforce the lessons learned. Sparks ignites a sense of wonder and curiosity in children, fostering both spiritual and intellectual growth.

3. Truth & Training (T&T)

The Truth & Training club is specially designed for third to sixth graders. Here, children focus on developing a more comprehensive understanding of the Bible's teachings and life application. The T&T curriculum challenges them to dig deeper into Scripture, memorize verses, and apply biblical principles in their daily lives. It equips them to navigate the challenges of adolescence while strengthening their relationship with God.

4. Trek

Trek is tailored for junior high school students in grades seventh and eighth. In this club, teenagers tackle more in-depth biblical studies to deepen their faith and foster spiritual growth. The Trek program aims to prepare them for high school and empowers them to become strong young adults guided by their faith.

5. Journey

The Journey club focuses on high school students in grades ninth to twelfth. It equips teenagers with the tools necessary to navigate their faith journey through this critical stage of their lives. Journey encourages deep discussions, critical thinking, and a personal commitment to their relationship with God. It aims to empower teens to live out their faith in a world that often challenges their beliefs.
